To assist in the upliftment of previously disadvantaged people in our country, we are committed to involving ourselves in community projects. Either in the role of facilitator, as with the relocation of the Schmidtsdrift people of the Northern Cape, or in a design and implementation capacity, as in the case of the Vrygrond Township development in the South Peninsula. In these cases we play our part in establishing efficient and comfortable living environments for communities.

Furthermore, with our extensive experience in the successful development of a large number of community projects, ASCH has been handpicked to serve as National Empowerment Manager for the Special Projects Initiative of the Department of Public Works.
The tiny Red Bishop shows unflagging determination in constructing its elaborate nest. It uses both its beak and feet to weave grasses and reeds together, and can even tie knots. To satisfy its very fastidious nature, it will go to extraordinary lengths to perfect its home. We, too, like to approach our work this way.
